Description
Our morning begins early as we make our way up to the top of the Iconic Table Mountain which overlooks the dynamic city of Cape Town.
Your ascending cable car reveals increasingly breathtaking views over the city and an endless sea until you stand atop iconic Table Mountain. Leave the noise behind and hike away from the crowds, keeping watch for wildlife and rare plants - if you can tear your eyes from the vistas. Enjoy the fauna and flora and the breathtaking views on your way to the top and once you reach the peak, take in the 360-degree views while tracking Dassies (Mountain Rock Rabbits) that can often be spotted on the tabletop. On top of Table Mountain, we will take a short hike away from the crowds whilst our guide brings alive the history of Cape Town combining the elevated view over the city. Fresh coffee and home-baked treats revive the body before we head back down to sea level.
With a better understanding of the city layout, we descend and wander through the inner city, soaking up the magical vibe of Cape Town, through a combination of tales of the past combined with modern day culture, and meet some of the absorbing communities which form the town's vital building blocks. Through food, design, arts and crafts, we discover historical sites like Company's Garden, Green Market Square and St George's Cathedral, which served as the backdrop for memorable icons who changed the world. Depending on your interests, touch on the fascinating and controversial politics that have shaped the city - delving into recollections of the once-vibrant District 6 community or perhaps the occasion where Mandela made his first free speech.
Next, we make our way to the colourful Bo-Kaap area and into the home of a local Cape Malay family. Here you will take part in an interactive private cooking lesson where we will learn the craft of creating the perfect traditional Cape Malay feast.
After lunch, enjoy walking along the cobble-stoned streets to experience this lively suburb filled with brightly coloured houses from as early as the seventeenth century, Muslim saint shrines, and many beautiful Mosques. Stop off along the way at the local boutique stores, buzzing with the trendy artisan movement that has taken the city by storm, and meet the fascinating people behind the culture of eco-friendly, handcrafted, "local is Lekker" movement.
We continue our afternoon with an adrenalin-filled ziplining experience on the slopes of the Table Mountain National Park. The Zipline experience offers you a tour of the cables starting high in the mountain and slowly descending down the slopes. Apart from the tour of cables you will be sliding on you will also walk within the mountain range and take in the beautiful scenery and explore small paths along the fynbos kingdom. The tour itself consists of 7 cables totalling one of Africa's longest Zipline Tours with +- 2.3 Kilometres in total. The Highest Cable from the ground in the canyon is 155 meters from the canyon floor.
To wrap up this enriching day, savor a refreshing drink at a local city hangout, relishing the memories of a true Cape Town exploration.

The Chobe National Park which is the second largest national park in Botswana and covers 10,566 square kilometres, has one of the greatest concentrations of game found on the African continent. Its uniqueness in the abundance of wildlife and the true African nature of the region, offers a safari experience of a lifetime. The park is divided into four distinctly different eco systems; serondela with its lush plains and dense forests in the Chobe River area in the extreme north-east; the Savuti Marsh in the west about fifty kilometres north of Mababe gate; the Linyanti Swamps in the north-west and the hot dry hinterland in between. The Chobe River runs along the northern border of Chobe National Park.
It rises in the northern Angolan highlands, where it is called the Kwando (a Hambukushu name), and travels enormous distances through Kalahari sands before reaching Botswana; here it becomes the Linyanti (a Subiya name) until it reaches Ngoma where it becomes the Chobe. Like the Okavango and Zambezi, the Chobe's course is affected by fault lines, which are extensions of East Africa's Great Rift Valley. These three mighty rivers carry more water than all other rivers in Southern Africa.

Meet the Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero representative in the reception area of your lodge to be transferred to Kasane. The departure time will be advised to you locally. The transfer time is approximately 10 minutes.
The Okavango Delta is the largest inland delta in the world, and instead of flowing into the sea, the annual flood of fresh water flows inland, spreading over 15,000 kilometers of the Kalahari sand in a maze of lagoons and channels. Its headwaters start in Angola’s western highlands, with numerous tributaries joining to form the Cubango River, which then flows through Namibia (called the Kavango) and finally enters Botswana, where it is then called the Okavango. The delta forms part of the Kalahari Basin, situated at the southern periphery of the Great Rift Valley, home to an estimated 9,000 species of flora and fauna – as such the delta is widely regarded as one of the premium destinations for game viewing. Although the periphery is semi-arid, the delta itself is a patchwork of cool clear streams, lagoons, floodplains and forested islands. In the dry winter season vast numbers of wildlife flock to where the floodwaters infiltrate the delta – providing one of the natural world’s most spectacular sights.
